A useful rink maintenance agreement begins with an equipment inventory and clear responsibilities. It should not be a generic promise that somebody will “take care of the rink.” Private owners, club managers, builders and service contractors need the same understanding of what is included.
Identify each chiller, pump and control system separately. Add the manufacturer's model and serial number where available, the location on the property and the latest service evidence. Keep unknown information marked as unknown instead of filling gaps with assumptions.
A planned visit can document condition and identify issues without including every repair or replacement part. The proposed scope should explain what is inspected, how additional work is authorized and whether follow-up visits require a separate quotation.
Discuss startup, in-season review and shutdown according to the installation and manufacturer's requirements. Frequency should reflect the actual equipment and usage. Avoid buying a fixed visit schedule before anyone has reviewed the system.
If your rink installer already manages service, ask who schedules technicians, obtains parts and approves charges. An owner, builder and service company working from different instructions can delay a straightforward repair. Keep one identified coordinator for each job.
Ask how urgent requests are handled, when the office reviews them and which locations are covered. Priority scheduling is not the same as 24/7 coverage or a guaranteed repair time. Any special response commitment should appear in the agreed terms, not be inferred from marketing language.
After each visit, retain the findings, completed work, parts replaced and recommendations. Mark recommendations as open until there is evidence of completion. This creates a practical basis for the next visit and for deciding when further repairs or replacement planning deserve attention.
Yukos Mechanical can review your rink's equipment and service needs before proposing an appropriate scope. Lower Westchester is the core service area; other locations are reviewed individually. Visit pricing, coverage and scheduling are confirmed before work is booked.
Share your location, equipment and opening date. Scope and availability confirmed before booking.
