CARE FOR YOUR INDOOR UNITS

Mini-Split Deep Cleaning in Westchester

Dust and buildup can collect beyond the filter, on the indoor coil, blower wheel and drainage components. Yukos Mechanical assesses your wall-mounted mini-split and confirms the cleaning scope for its model, condition and access.

Clean the components that move air through your room

A clean filter does not prove that the coil, blower wheel or drain pan is clean. Professional deep cleaning targets accessible internal components using equipment-appropriate methods while protecting the room, controls and electrical parts.

When to arrange an assessment

Signs your indoor unit needs attention

01

Visible buildup

Dust or residue around the outlet or visible blower surfaces can justify an internal inspection. Do not reach into a powered unit.

02

Musty or persistent odors

Odor can have several causes. We assess the unit and drainage rather than promise that cleaning alone will resolve every smell.

03

Weak or uneven airflow

A dirty filter, coil or blower can restrict airflow; motor faults and other system problems also require consideration.

04

Drips or drainage problems

Water leakage may relate to a blocked drain, pump fault, installation issue or another defect. Report active leakage when booking.

Mini-split cleaning questions

Frequently asked questions

Is deep cleaning the same as washing the filter?

No. Filter care is routine owner maintenance where allowed by the manual. Deep cleaning reaches internal coil, blower and drainage surfaces; the extent of disassembly varies by model.

How often should an indoor unit be deep cleaned?

Follow the manufacturer maintenance schedule and arrange a professional review. Deep-cleaning frequency depends on buildup, operating hours, pets, dust, moisture and access; not every unit needs the same interval.

Does cleaning remove mold permanently?

No permanent mold-prevention claim is made. Persistent moisture or suspected contamination requires assessment of the cause and the appropriate service scope, which may extend beyond equipment cleaning.

How much does mini-split cleaning cost?

Pricing depends on the model, number of indoor units, access height, buildup, disassembly and drainage requirements. Repairs, replacement parts and work outside the approved scope are quoted separately.
